Actually i only used the quicksave mod there and a couple other times. i'm playing on the third highest difficulty setting (w/ ai balancing on) and i admit that i have a lot of trouble at times. if you don't like quick save, don't use it, simple solution.. Far cry - far cry 2 mod (v1.0 beta) contains updated textures for every single-player weapon along with much more realistic damage. the models and textures are aimed at realism and are attempting to emulate far cry 2.. A "quicksave" basically saves your status and inventory, not your location and the state of the world. the latter two can change despite your save, and you can only perform this save when outside a mission area.. Don't use the quick save unless you get stuck in a certain place, the auto save still works. it gets real frustrating to play one section over, and over, and over again. kind of think of the qs feature as a security blanket.. Click on your far cry desktop-icon and chose characteristics. here you can add "-devmode" after the far cry path. you can save during the game with f9 and load the latest savegame with b>f10..
